While visiting a museum exhibit with Gwen Stacy, Peter Parker witnesses the theft of several priceless paintings. The crime appears to implicate Gwen's father, Captain George Stacy, who is overseeing security for the event.
Certain that Captain Stacy is innocent, Spider-Man investigates and soon suspects the master of disguise known as Chameleon. The web-slinger sets a trap to expose the villain, but capturing the elusive criminal proves more difficult than expected.
