This issue marks the return of Karen Brinson, the dream-walking protagonist first introduced in the self-published and Caliber/Tapestry miniseries. Able to enter the dreams of others, Karen begins a new chapter in her life — as does Mrs. Tobias — setting the stage for meaningful change for both characters.
Equally notable is the backup story, “Have a Stogie on Me,” which features the first-ever appearance of Eric Powell’s The Goon, a character later reprinted in The Goon #1.
