Thor finds himself under siege on all fronts as he battles Loki, the Cobra, and Mr. Hyde. Loki orchestrates a cruel plan, sending Cobra and Hyde to kidnap Jane Foster. When Thor confronts them, he is forced to stand down as they threaten Jane’s life, allowing the villains to escape.
Observing the encounter, Odin condemns Thor’s perceived “weakness” and banishes him from Asgard. Thor later reveals that his earlier actions were the result of Loki’s deception, and Odin ultimately allows him to return to Earth. There, Thor renews his fight against Cobra and Hyde, rescues Jane — only to find her critically ill.
In a desperate act, Thor whirls Mjolnir to create a time-stopping vortex around Jane, freezing the moment long enough for him to finish his battle with the villains and save her life.
Also featuring appearances by Jane Foster and Heimdall.
